Wintrust Jr. Broadcaster has memorable day calling Dansby Swanson’s home run
Parker Meade already had experienced a memorable day.
Dansby Swanson helped make it priceless.
Meade, 10, won the Wintrust Jr. Broadcaster sweepstakes and spent the day at the Marquee Sports Network studio and at Wrigley Field as he prepared to call an inning of action with Jon “Boog” Sciambi and Jim Deshaies.

The Kendallville, Ind. native won the contest after submitting a video of himself calling a Cody Bellinger home run from earlier in the season.
He was able to call a live home run this time around.
In the 3rd inning of Monday’s series opener against the Pirates, Meade joined Boog & JD and was quickly able to display his home run call as Swanson deposited a solo home run into the left-center field basket.
It was cherry on top of a day that saw him tour the Marquee Sports Network studio and meet 2016 World Series champion Dexter Fowler, hosts Elise Menaker and Cole Wright, watch batting practice on historic Wrigley Field and even play catch with his favorite player, outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong.
Meade attended the game with his parents, Jason and Whitney and his older sister, Lexi.
Catch his full inning on the call on the Marquee Sports Network App.
