Ultimate Cubs Lineup Tournament bracket
Recently, we asked our team of Marquee Sports Network analysts to construct an Ultimate Cubs Lineup of players from any point in the franchise’s history in an effort to win a single game.
Now, those lineups are being put to the test in a 16-team tournament.
After the first round of competition, the bracket has been whittled down from 16 teams to 8 Ultimate Cubs Lineups.
Here is the updated bracket:
The second round begins on Cubs 360 Daily at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, as Mark DeRosa faces Jim Deshaies and Cole Wright battles Doug Glanville. The other two second round matchups will take place on Tuesday’s show when Rick Sutcliffe takes on Tony Andracki and Elise Menaker goes up against George Will.
The semifinals are scheduled for Wednesday night, followed by the championship on Thursday.
