Tyrique Stevenson among Bears inactives vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
LONDON — Tyrique Stevenson was doubtful to play the Jacksonville Jaguars in London after suffering a calf injury during the practice week.
It happened on a Thursday afternoon, leaving little time to recover properly. It wasn’t nearly enough.

The Bears had to designate the starting cornerback as inactive for this game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Safety Jaquan Brisker is also among the inactives, after being ruled out earlier this week with a concussion.
That means the Bears will have two reserves in the starting lineup, with Elijah Hicks in for Brisker and Jaylon Jones expected to step in for Stevenson.
That’s not an ideal situation against a Jaguars team that features Christian Kirk and Brian Thomas Jr. in the pattern. Keep an eye on how the Bears fare on the back end down two important secondary pieces.
Zacch Pickens and Terrell Smith are also inactive due to injury, though guard Nate Davis is a healthy scratch. That’s a fast fall for someone who started a few weeks back, but lost his job to Matt Pryor and seems to have been jumped on the depth chart by Bill Murray.
