Seiya Suzuki perfectly described Cubs teammate Pete Crow-Armstrong
Swift, speedy, quick, rapid, fleet.

But how would Seiya Suzuki label it?
“Cheetah,” the Cubs right fielder said with a smile through interpreter Edwin Stanberry.

A pretty apt depiction.
One day after hitting an electrifying, inside-the-park home run, Crow-Armstrong followed it up with a 437-foot, no-doubt home run and a ground-rule double in the Cubs’ 14-2 win over the Marlins on Saturday in Miami.

Since July 27 — when he made a change in his swing — Crow-Armstrong is slashing .309/.356/.593 (.949 OPS) with 4 home runs and 14 RBI. That, coupled with the improved offensive play of catcher Miguel Amaya, has helped revitalize the bottom of the Cubs lineup.
Saturday in Miami, the whole offense was clicking. All 9 hitters reached base and either scored or drove in a run, highlighted by Suzuki’s big day at the plate — he had 2 home runs and showcased his wheels, too, with a triple.
Did he want to be waved home by third base coach Willie Harris?
“Even if he sent me home, I probably would have stopped,” Suzuki said.
