Montez Sweat will play vs. Packers, not among Bears inactives
CHICAGO — The Bears are the healthiest they’ve been in a while.
They’re getting offensive tackles Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright back in the lineup. They’re getting edge rushers Montez Sweat and Darrell Taylor back, too.

Sweat was the only relative unknown, as he was designated as questionable with an ankle injury. Head coach Matt Eberflus said he was optimistic that Sweat would play, and was officially available once the inactives list was released on Sunday morning.
Taylor missed last week’s game against New England, but will resume his role on passing downs as a threat off the edge.
Left guard Teven Jenkins is the only active starter unavailable, but he was ruled out on Friday. Ryan Bates will play left guard in his stead, but the rest of the offensive line will revert to it’s normal state. Matt Pryor will move back to his natural right guard spot after having to play right tackle last week.
That will help the offense overall and provide some comfort to quarterback Caleb Williams, who is looking to rebound after a pair of subpar performances against the Cardinals and Patriots.
From a Packers perspective, cornerback Jaire Alexander is active after being questionable.
