‘Live from the 2025 Cubs Convention,’ presented by Circa Sports Illinois, will begin Friday at 5 p.m. CT with the Blue Carpet Special; coverage continues Saturday at 9 a.m.

CHICAGO — Marquee Sports Network will be the exclusive broadcast and live stream home of the 2025 Cubs Convention – highlighted by the return of hitting legend Sammy Sosa and 1-on-1 conversations with players, coaches, and alumni – on Friday, Jan. 17, and Saturday, Jan. 18.

Live from the 2025 Cubs Convention, presented by Circa Sports Illinois, will begin on Friday, Jan. 17, at 5 p.m. CT with the Blue Carpet Special, featuring exclusive Cubs players interviews with Marquee Sports Network’s Boog Sciambi, Cole Wright and Elise Menaker, as they enter the Sheraton Grand Chicago. Live coverage will continue at 6 p.m. with the Opening Ceremony, hosted by Wright, followed by Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster, presented by Budweiser.

Saturday’s exclusive coverage will begin at 9 a.m. CT with new conversations each hour featuring Cubs players, coaches, alumni and executives. The scheduled conversations include:

• Baseball Operations Update with Jed Hoyer and Carter Hawkins, presented by Wintrust (hosted by Sciambi)

• A Sit Down with Craig Counsell, presented by Wintrust (hosted by Sciambi)

• Cubs Pitchers: On the Mound (hosted by Marquee’s Jim Deshaies)

• Live recording of The Compound with Ian Happ

• Kids Only Press Conference, presented by Advocate Children’s Hospital (hosted by Menaker)

• Road to Wrigley (hosted by Menaker and Marquee’s Lance Brozdowski)
