Marquee Sports Network to broadcast 2024 Cubs Convention
‘Live from the 2024 Cubs Convention’ presented by Circa Sports Illinois begins Friday at 5 PM with the Blue Carpet Special; coverage continues Saturday at 9 AM

CHICAGO – For the second consecutive year, Marquee Sports Network is set to air live coverage of Cubs Convention, highlighted by Friday’s Blue Carpet Special and Opening Ceremony and Saturday conversations with Cubs players, coaches, alumni and executives.
Live from the 2024 Cubs Convention presented by Circa Sports Illinois begins on Friday, January 12 at 5 PM CT with the Blue Carpet Special, featuring exclusive interviews as Cubs players walk the blue carpet at the Sheraton Grand Chicago. Live coverage continues at 6 PM CT with the Opening Ceremony, hosted by Marquee’s Cole Wright, followed by Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster presented by Budweiser.
Saturday’s coverage begins at 9 AM CT with new conversations each hour featuring Cubs players, coaches, alumni and executives. Among the scheduled conversations include:
- Baseball Operations Update with Jed Hoyer and Carter Hawkins presented by Wintrust (hosted by Marquee Sports Network play-by-play broadcaster Boog Sciambi)
- A Conversation with Craig Counsell presented by Wintrust (hosted by Boog Sciambi)
- Pitchers Session: On the Mound (hosted by Marquee Sports Network analyst Jim Deshaies)
- Live recording of The Compound with Ian Happ
- Kids Only Press Conference presented by Advocate Children’s Hospital
- Reunions with the 1984 and 2016 teams
