NEW EPISODE OF CHRIS & TELL PREMIERES THURSDAY
A new episode of Chris & Tell presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois with host Chris Myers premieres this Thursday at 7:30 p.m. CT. Myers sits down with former Chicago Bull Joakim Noah to discuss his memories of Tom Thibodeau and Billy Donovan, and whether he has any regrets in retirement:
“I had a great 13-year run in the NBA and I got to experience college in a way that very few have. I’m super proud of my journey. I know I worked really hard and I did it my way. A lot of people had things to say and a lot of opinions about what I should do, and at the end of the day, I’m the one who put in the work and I did it my way. It wasn’t always pretty, and there were highs and lows, but at the end of the day I’m proud of my journey and I can go to sleep at night and sleep well.”
MIAMI OPEN LIVE ON MARQUEE
Catch live action from the Miami Open tennis tournament March 24-30 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. CT as Marquee Sports Network will be airing daily matches not available on Tennis Channel.
ICYMI: NOTES AND QUOTES FROM LAST WEEK
Beth Mowins: “Quite honestly, is there something else that’s better to do today than to call a Cubs game? … You don’t really think about doing something that no other woman has done before. You just hope that it’s an opportunity that other young boys and girls will have after you through a lot of hard work.” (ESPN 1000 Waddle and Silvy Show)
Ildemaro Vargas: “This is what I love, and if God gave me a second chance in life, it’s for a reason. I am grabbing it with the most humility I can have and to keep fighting to keep going up another level.”
A roster battle pales in comparison to what Ildemaro Vargas had to go through just to reach the majors.

Brennen Davis: “I mean, it’s Wrigley Field — who wouldn’t want to play there? It’s unbelievable. To be able to get out there, play games and take center field. It’s hard to put into words.”
In his first big-league camp, Cubs top prospect Brennen Davis keeps thinking about David Ross’ advice.
