Marquee Sports Network host Cole Wright, Hall of Famer Fergie Jenkins and 17-year MLB veteran Cliff Floyd spoke on the influence of Jackie Robinson.

Wright, Jenkins and Floyd spoke on various topics about Jackie Robinson’s significance, including the best ways to preserve his legacy and how future generations can always remember Robinson’s significance to baseball and society.

“I think it’s so important. We got the Players Alliance now. You have guys signing on as assistants to commissioner [Rob] Manfred,” Floyd said.  “Those are things were you’re going what’s a difference maker going to be? How are you going to be a difference maker?

“There’s people who talk about it and there’s people who do. When you look at the league and what we’re trying to do, you have to understand what diversity means, but you have to tackle it.”
