CHICAGO — The Bears entered Sunday’s regular-season opener with a relatively clean bill of health. Only defensive tackle Zacch Pickens was ruled out of this contest ahead of time, though some key members were designated as questionable.
That included receiver Keenan Allen (heel) and defensive end Montez Sweat (toe). Head coach Matt Eberflus wasn’t concerned about either player when he spoke on Friday, and both will be available versus Tennessee. So are defensive linemen Darrell Taylor and DeMarcus Walker, who were considered questionable for this game as well.
Receiver Tyler Scott was somewhat of a surprise inactive, as a healthy scratch for Week 1, and DeAndre Carter’s status as a return man played a part in that. So did Velus Jones Jr., who can play in the backfield or out wide. Roschon Johnson was inactive after not being listed on the injury report. Also Dominque Robinson was inactive over Daniel Hardy, who had a solid preseason and will provide depth at the end spot.
