Bears injury report: D’Andre Swift questionable, Roschon Johnson out vs. Vikings
LAKE FOREST, Ill. — There’s some uncertainty about who will be running the ball for the Bears offense.
D’Andre Swift was considered questionable to play Monday night’s game versus Minnesota on the team’s official injury report, which was released on Saturday afternoon.

Swift dealt with a quadriceps issue last week that caused him to miss some practice time and be considered questionable versus the 49ers. He ended up being active in that game, though he wasn’t terribly productive for a number of reasons. He was listed with a groin injury this week, and remained out of practice until Saturday.
Fellow running back Roschon Johnson was ruled out for a second straight week while in the concussion protocol. That will mean more work for Travis Homer and a practice squad elevation for one of the two running backs on that reserve unit.
Offensive lineman Ryan Bates was ruled out with a concussion. Defensive tackle Gervon Dexter was also ruled out with a knee injury. That’s a big blow for the defense, which must play without it’s sack leader and best interior lineman. That will mean more work for Chris Williams and Zacch Pickens on the inside, but the Bears are undoubtedly worse without him in the lineup.
